We found this beauty at a former antique store that was downsizing/going out of business. It had seen a few better days & had likely lived its first life in a science classroom, in the Rochester area, since we found a sticker to replace bulbs in the drawer.

This piece is solid & still in great shape. Open on both sides this would work well for homeschooling two children or make a lovely addition to a home office.

After sanding the entire piece down & removing the veneer from the top we tested three separate paint colors on this before deciding on custom mixing our own color. You won’t find this shade in any store, but if you’d like, you can call it “Peanut Butter”, the name I affectionately called it after tons of frustration with the first three shades. The top & drawers were stained Early American & the handles were coated with poly to showcase their natural color.
